We stopped to get a pizza out of the freezer for lunch, so I picked some wild flowers for Pearl. (they are on top of the rear view camera)

We are making good time, just crossed into North Carolina and we have over a half tank of fuel to get us on down the road another 400 miles or so.
Awwwww! That was sweet! You not only impressed Pearl but all the other women reading your blog who enjoy their man taking the time to surprise them with unexpected gifts to let them know he was thinking about them and wanted to do something to make her smile!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you are a little ahead of schedule (but since you aren't stopping too much on your travel days and spending time in a restaurant, I can see how you can do that. That is if at least one of you is refreshed enough to drive on down the road. Hope you found a nice place to stay in Washington D.C. Can't wait to see pics of what you visit there.
